《外師訪視—民和國中》

今天我們和 Fulbright 基金會的夥伴們一同到訪了 #民和國中 進行外師教學訪視

#Theresa 今天的課堂主題是 Thanksgiving

老師們一開始便用了圖畫及影片詳細的講解感恩節的歷史與意義

並介紹了大家最愛的感恩節食物如 turkey,pumpkin pie 等等

配合 flyswatter 的遊戲，讓大家對單字有更深刻的印象

不光是單字， Theresa 也設計了三種不同的問句讓孩子們思考並練習口說

而感恩節的重點便是感恩

因此在課堂最後，孩子們紛紛寫下了自己對於他人的感謝

在課堂中，可以發現孩子們雖然英文不流利卻都很願意開口回應

而 Theresa 也都非常有耐心的慢慢等待及引導

協同中師 #李俐宛老師 也提到 Theresa 非常用心

對於班級經營很有想法

也很願意花時間與中師討論

Today we visited Min Ho Junior High School to observe Theresa’s class. The topic of today’s lesson is Thanksgiving. Theresa explained the origin and the meaning of this holiday very clearly. Later, she introduced several Thanksgiving related words like turkey and pumpkin pie then helped the students to remember them by play flyswatter game. She also designed 3 questions for the students to share their thoughts and do some oral practice. At the end of the class, the students all wrote down who they are thankful for and why.

During the class, Theresa was very patient toward students and we could see that the students were very engaged and enjoyed Theresa’s class. That was really a great and interesting class, we appreciate your hard work. See you next time!
